The story has been rewritten, with more action, more dialogue, and more drama after the movie script was written. Freshman year 1954 through the senior year and graduation in 1958. A last kiss? A gang? Matlin's vision quest? And who starred in the high school production of West Side Story? Michael? Was he a Jet or a Shark? Or neither?

The continuing saga of the DeMarco brothers begins with book 3 as they both struggle through college. The inheritance the twins received from some mystery man would not only bring change in their lives but also in the life of their mother. This event will forever change their future, their journey and their story. Years of intense study at college prepare the boys for this new global adventure. New people enter their lives which results in great friendships and eventually business associates. Book 4 continues as the DeMarco brothers run the gauntlets of Wounded Knee in the early ‘70s, the building of the town of Eagleton, Colorado high in a valley of the Rocky Mountains in the late ‘70s and the sky tower, the DeMarco international headquarters in downtown Denver being built in the early ‘80s. Several deaths occur, natural deaths, because we all grow old. But as one dies, others are birthed and the story of the brothers continue. Within the same family, to be quite honest and somewhat crude, out with the old and in with the new. More secrets are revealed, old friendships are reunited, challenges lie ahead, dreams come true and new adventures begin.

Life continues with the DeMarco brothers as Wounded Knee happens and Michael gets entangled within the daily affairs of the siege. The valley discovered by Matlin during his vision quest becomes a reality. Who is the king Michael so royally engaged with? We began with the generations of my great-great-grandparents, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents and continued on in book 2 with the high school years. He is the fourth character on the cover of the book. In 1997, the Original dark vampire is obliterated. Does the story end here? No.

I am Mitchell, the grandson of the Reverend Dr. Matlin DeMarco. Meet me and Charlie, who we are, how we met and what we have become to each other. Call me Pastor Mitch as my congregation does. The Aosta Valley is an alpine valley which with its tributary valleys includes the Italian slopes of Mont Blanc, Monte Rosa, Gran Paradiso and the Matterhorn; its highest peak is Mont Blanc at 15,780 ft. This makes it the highest region in Italy by the list of Italian regions by highest point therefore, the type of cattle, the Valdostana Pezzate Rossa breed, my ancestors herded to survive the harsh winter months. This was the home of my ancestors after they fled France in 1307 and changed their names to protect themselves from death. Let’s go back and find out how my French ancestry, on my Italian side became Italian and took on the name of DeMarco, leaving their French heritage behind. The LeBlanc clan, my grandmother’s side of the family, were Gnostics which meant they had to conceal their beliefs after they fled Béziers in Southern France. Even though the church of St. Thomas had changed beliefs over the centuries, the records of this church remained intact as it survived war after war. The early documentation of Beziers was lost due to those wars. But this church in Strasburg had the records of the LeBlanc family intact. So, in all truth, the DeMarco’s were never Italian. Does that make Matlin and Michael DeMarco totally French before their ancestors came to America from Italy? Again, are Matlin and Michael DeMarco, French Lakota before their grandmother added in her French Polynesian heritage? Let’s just say there are more ingredients to the receipt at hand.

Throughout the series, Robert W. Parsons, the author, has given bits and pieces of who he is as the author of the Twin Memoirs series. I Mitchell, the new storyteller, has been given the opportunity by my grandfather, Matlin DeMarco, to share my thoughts about Robert W. Parsons, my collaborator. Robert told me that this is the beginning of his memoirs. Yes, he wrote several generations of my family’s memoirs, now he will write his own when the Twin Memoirs series is finished. This is just the beginning of the end of the Twin Memoirs series. I know, confusing? This is from Robert. This story, this interview for a publication, started off with just a few paragraphs. But after each edit, over the weeks, by myself, it got longer and longer. I’m a writer, a published author, so my storytelling took over. You have read my works. The Twin Memoirs series has eight volumes, two books in each volume, and four standalone books, twenty books altogether in the series. These books tell the story of two fictious characters you might have thought were real. Were they fictional characters as you read the story? Or was I the twins? Was I Matlin and Michael my alter ego? Am I so delirious to make this up, with dual personalities? Or did this whole story actually take place? What meant to be a short interview about myself, led to a short story, or should I say, a novelette. Forgive me for the in-depth interview but be embraced at the beginning of a possible memoir of my own. If so, it will be out anywhere from 2025 to 2030. But first, I need to become famous for that memoir to emerge. That is where you, my readers, come in. Endorse me, accept me, love me, support me, buy my books.
